Why would I want to cycle over 300kms in tight, bright clothing whilst perched on a very uncomfortable saddle?

A variety of reasons:
-get some exercise;
-a (small) way to boost the image of Societe Generale; Banks need all the good publicity they can get at the moment!
But,mainly because it is a concrete way of contributing to a worthwhile objective by supporting CARE and 3 of its eductaional projects in Peru,Mali and Bangladesh.
SG's Charitable Foundation has partnered CARE since 2007 and more about that partnership and the 3 projects can be found here:
